Rugby Achievements of USA Fly-Half Folau Niua

Folau Niua is a rugby union player of America who plays as fly-half for the national rugby team of the USA. Folau Niua belongs to East Palo Alto California. Niua played rugby at the East Palo Alto Razorbacks at club level helping the club to win a Division II national championship. He then played at San Francisco Golden Gate helping them to win a Rugby Super League national championship. His appearance in the August 2011 national all star championships proved his scoring skill and fitness which led the Pacific Coast team.

Niua was considered to be selected in the 2011 Rugby World Cup but was not included in the final tournament list. He made debut for the US national team at the 2011 Pan American games where he started as fly half although he was lacking international tournament experience. He scored 41 points being the top scorer in that tournament, including a 78% success rate in kicking his conversions and thus helped the U.S to win a bronze medal. Niua contracted a deal in January 2012 to play full time for the U.S.A.
