Profile of English Rugby Player Joe Marler

Joe Marler is an English rugby union player who plays for Harlequins in the Aviva Premiership. He was born on 7 July in Eastbourne, England. He basically plays as a Prop. He went to Esher and Worthing each for a season on loan when he started his career with Harlequins. He was selected in the U20 team of England for the U20 Six Nations tournament 2009 but remained injured throughout. Marler represented the England U20 during the Junior World Championship in 2009. Marler began his career at Haywards Heath RFC in Sussex.
Marler was again selected in the U20 squad in the next season where he started his six nation debut against Wales. He debuted his Premiership career for Harlequins at the end of that season. He was called up in the English squad for the 2010 end of year tests as a replacement for injured David Wilson. Marler was still kept in the squad though Wilson got recovery from injury. He finally started test debut against South Africa by playing two test matches as loose head prop in the 2012 summer.
