The Springboks will
start their 2015 Rugby Championship campaign by playing against Australia in
Brisbane on Saturday 18 July. SANZAR announced the schedule of tournament on Monday
that has been reduced to three rounds to give space to the Rugby World Cup.
South Africa will also host New Zealand and Argentina in 2015. The Rugby
Championship will begin on Friday 17 July when New Zealand plays against
Argentina in Christchurch. There will be no series next year because of the
Rugby World Cup. The Springboks will host New Zealand and Argentina takes on
the Wallabies in the second round while Australia and the All Blacks will play
in Sydney and South Africa and Argentina in the third round.
The home venues for
the games in which Springboks and Argentina are involved will be announced
later. There have been tough competitions between South Africa and New Zealand
in recent years becoming must watch games of the tournament to attract fans
