Wale’s Centre Crisis Disappears as Their Injured Players Recover

Wale’s Jonathan Davies, Scott Williams and Cory Allen are about to be fit to reduce the centre crisis. The results of a scan on Davies were being waited by Wales after he was injured during the Clermont Auvergne's European Champions Cup. French media’s initial reports said that Davies’ shoulder was dislocated due to which he was likely to be ruled out of the autumn campaign but it was only shoulder muscle problem according to scan results. Hamstring and leg issues were reported by Scarlets’ Williams and Cardiff Blues’ Allen but the trio will participate in the training session next week before opening autumn test against Australia begins on November 8.

“It is very good news over all, “said forwards coach Robin McBryde. “We are still watching how the rehabilitation process of players is progressing but it is looking positive and hopefully if not all most of them will be participating next week. Things are finding their way. It will be early to make a final call but it is much better than what we first thought.” McBryde also thinks that Bath prop paul James’ rejoining of the Ospreys at the end of the season will boost Wales.  “It is good news for any Welsh supporter from national point of view, “said McBryde. “He strengthens and boosts any squad in which he is included.”
