Ireland Got Third Position in World Rugby Ranking

Ireland beat Rugby World Cup 2015 hosts England by 19-9 in Six Nations at Dublin on Sunday and back to 3rd position in Rugby World Ranking. Now the point’s difference between Ireland and England is 1.27. Ireland is less than two rating points behind South Africa in second in the Rankings.
Wales have increased their four points after a 20-13 Victory against France on Saturday; although the margin was not enough to improve their position of sixth but in very close to Australia almost 0.1 points difference. Italy’s victory against Scotland did not improve their position in world ranking but this victory given the near three points to Tonga above them in 13th.  Scotland defeated at home and fall his position to 10th with Samoa.

In Six Nations, there are a number of changes in the ranking. The biggest surprise came of Russia’s victory and moves above the Uruguay and their RWC 2015 qualification hopes back in October. Romania one place fall to 17th, dropping them below USA once more. Portugal picked up their first victory 11-3 over Germany in Lisbon and climb one place to 22nd at the expense of RWC 2015 bound Namibia. Portugal still below by Spain more than three rating points difference. The one other match to impact the rankings was the match between the Netherlands and Moldova in Amsterdam. The Dutch won 18-10 to climb three places to 33rd. Now the Ireland team is very hopeful for their best performance in RWC. They struggle hard to maintain their current rating and shows real game in RWC.
