Rugby Overview of USA Player Cam Dolan

Cameron Dolan is rugby union player of America who plays at the Number 8 position. He presently plays professionally for the Northampton Saints in the English Premiership. Dolan started playing rugby with the Naples Bears in Florida. He played college rugby at Life University in Atlanta. Dolan appeared internationally during the IRB Junior World Rugby Trophy 2009 when he captained the USA U20 team. He secured the position in the USA senior side due to his efforts for the U20 and his club.
He started his international career at Number 8 against Fiji as a substitute for Captain Todd Clever who was injured.  He earned his third and fourth cap in the USA vs Canada game in Round 3 of the Rugby World Cup Americas qualifications 2015. Dolan was nominated captain of the USA Select XV in the Americas Rugby Championship 2013. He guided the side to wins against Canada A and Uruguay. He was selected in the American squad for end of year rugby union tests 2013 after this championship. He was declared Man of the Match in their match against Maori All Blacks. He was called the US Breakout Player of the Year by Rugby Mag at the end of 2013.
